ARCHumankind, represented by its director, Paulo Casaca, has been present in a series of rallies in Europe to support the Iranian community plight for freedom. On 20 November 2019, the Secretariat of the National Council of Resistance of Iran published a report on Iran’s uprising. The report indicates that there have been at least 251 killed, 3,700 injured, and 7,000 arrested; and the names of the 85 martyrs of the uprising in various cities are listed. Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), called on the UN Security Council stating ‘The UNSC must demand an immediate halt in killings and the release of detainees. It must declare the leaders of the regime as criminals against humanity. They must face justice’.
